Those values were passed down through generations who didn’t talk about them endlessly — they simply lived them. From the factories and shipyards to the farms and high streets, our parents and grandparents built lives through effort, loyalty, and resilience.

We honour those who came before us. The men and women who fought in wars, rebuilt communities, raised families, and created the Britain we inherited.

And being proud of that history has nothing to do with race or background.
